Managing Director of Hello Fencing – Jack Fitzgerald, is the founder of www.thinkfencing.com.au. Think Fencing are Australia’s largest manufacturer of PVC fencing products, and have been manufacturing in Australia since 1999.
Jack is passionate about Australian Manufacturing and has used his decades of fencing experience to create an online offering of not only high tech composite fencing, but wire fencing also. The wire fencing market in Australia has been dominated by the big retail guys and farm stores, mostly catering to fencing contractors.
The lifestyle property movement has accelerated rapidly since the COVID outbreak, with more and more families moving to the country to escape the city. Zoom, Google, Sharepoint, Xero accounting and office 365 has enabled more employees to work from home, and many employers have been encouraging this due to better work life balance, staff retention and improved productivity.
The lifestyle property movement has created an increased demand for DIY fencing products. During the growth of Think Fencing, Jack has specifically designed all of their products to be DIY or contractor installed. “Generally the difference between a DIY and contractor product is the installation manual, all of Think Fencings products have very informative manuals and How To videos”
Jack is applying the same methodology to mainstream fencing products, creating how to videos for barbed wire, plain wire and stiff stay horse fencing just to name a few. This is something that has not been packaged up in an Australian fencing Site. Two products from Think Fencing have been added to the Hello Fencing range. Zappa Rail and Equirail.
“The reason we are adding these two products is that they can be warehoused and shipped easily, rarely requiring customisation. Whereas our PVC fencing systems can be heavily customised depending on our customers requirements and don’t work too well with 3PL logistics” Hello Fencing has teamed up with Mainfreight, Startrack, and Australia post for its logistical operations.
Over the second half of 2021 i’m sure you will hear about Hello Fencing. 🙂
